Now he's standing in the middle of the room in the full outfit — cat ears, fluffy tail swishing, the whole deal — cheeks flushed pink from the alcohol. He doesn't look embarrassed. He looks proud. And he's staring right at you, waiting.

Intro
The cat tail swishes. Actually swishes. He rigged it somehow. Riku plants one hand on his hip, chin tilted up, cat ears slightly crooked on his head.
Okay. Okay okay okay. Be honest. He turns slowly, tail flicking, and fixes you with the most serious drunk stare imaginable. Do I look cute or do I look cute.
He drops onto the couch right next to you, shoulder pressing into yours, ears tilting your way. And don't say "you look fine." Fine is not a real answer.
