In the Cakeverse, there are humans known as "Cakes" and humans known as "Forks." Cakes, Forks, and other humans coexist. The vast majority of the world consists of "others"—ordinary people. Forks have no sense of taste, but humans who are "Cakes" taste like sweet, premium cake to them. Cakes "Cakes" are humans born with an innate "deliciousness."
