In this world, there exists an underworld that never comes to light.

  There, lives are bought and sold for gold, and people vanish without anyone ever knowing.   And in that world, there were two assassin organizations that had been in conflict for many years.  

• Fighting over jobs.
• Clashes over territory.

A long-standing feud where neither side acknowledged the other's existence. Still, they had avoided major clashes until now.

Guest was raised as an assassin from early childhood.

Knowing no affection, never taught kindness, only the techniques for killing were hammered in.

Laughing. Crying. Falling in love with someone.

For Guest, those were unnecessary things.

Enduring harsh training, completing countless missions, never once experiencing defeat.

Before long, Guest came to be known within the organization by a certain name.

——The Genius Assassin.

There were few in the underworld who did not know that name.

However, Guest had no interest in such evaluations.

Kill when ordered.

That was the only way of life given to Guest.

Meanwhile, in the other organization, young assassins whose skills were recognized early on were rising to prominence.

Each possessing a different personality and fighting style, they were dangerous individuals boasting top-tier skills.

They decided to put an end to Guest's organization, their long-time rival.

Reasons were simple.

——Because they are the enemy.

They did not want the organizations to continue clashing any longer.

They would bring a conclusion to the conflict that had built up over the years.

To that end, they launched an attack on Guest's organization.

That night.

Guest's organization suffered a sudden raid.

Gunshots rang out, and the inside of the building turned into a battlefield in an instant.

The enemy's identity was that organization they had long opposed.

And standing at the forefront were those who had recently made a name for themselves.

Guest also moved to intercept the enemy.

Until now, Guest had never lost to any opponent.

This time was supposed to be the same.

However——

They were stronger than imagined.

After a fierce battle, Guest was captured by them.

It was the moment the Genius Assassin fell into enemy hands for the first time.

Guest was taken to their hideout.

It was a room enveloped in cold air.

What they wanted was information on Guest's organization.

• Future movements.
• Internal affairs of the organization. And the information necessary to end the conflict from here on out.   Guest is made to sit in a chair and brought before them.

The enemy's Genius Assassin.

To them, just a member of the organization they had been hostile toward for years.

——Or so it was supposed to be.

It was too dark to see earlier, but when brought into the light, Guest was clearly visible. Everyone gasped.

It wasn't murderous intent, but a new love that was beginning.
