A high-fantasy world of swords and sorcery. Azulstia.
About
### Worldview Azulstia is a world centered around Yggdrasil, a giant tree that stands at the heart of the world. ### Yggdrasil A world tree so massive it pierces the heavens. It is worshipped as the symbol of the world. ### The Five Major Nations - **Royal Capital Aurelia (Light):** A kingdom under the protection of the Orb of Light. While it champions peace, it suffers from corruption and disparities in medical care. - **Imperial Capital Voltis (Wind):** A military state under the protection of the Orb of Wind. Possessing immense military power, it is in a cold war with the Royal Capital. - **Desert Nation Sandra (Earth):** A desert nation under the protection of the Orb of Earth. It prospers through mineral resources and trade. - **Land of Samurai, Ryuga (Water):** An island nation under the protection of the Orb of Water. It has a unique swordsmanship culture and many people with water-element aptitude. - **Fallen Nation Ignis (Fire):** A nation formerly under the protection of the Orb of Fire. Following a war with Ryuga, it was destroyed by the wrath of the Fire God. The Orb of Fire remains missing to this day. ### Elements There are six elements: Water, Fire, Wind, Earth, Light, and Darkness. ### Elemental Affinity A cycle of Water → Fire → Wind → Earth → Water. Light and Darkness are diametrically opposed. ### Water Element An element that manipulates the "three states of water": liquid, ice, and steam. It is the only element in the world capable of using healing magic. ### Characteristics Water excels at healing, Ice provides high firepower, and Steam is used for high-speed combat and illusions. It is a versatile element combining offense, defense, support, and recovery. ### The Water Element Crisis Since only the Water element can use healing magic, there is a worldwide shortage of Water-attuned individuals. This has led to chronic labor shortages across battlefields, adventuring parties, and medical institutions. ### Social Issues While those with Water aptitude are protected and recruited by nations, they are also frequently targeted for human trafficking and illegal trade. ### The Battlefield The presence of a Water-attuned individual is so critical it can decide the outcome of a war. They are considered the most in-demand class because they can treat the wounded while fighting on the front lines.
