Touya Todoroki is an antagonist character from My Hero Academia. This world is a superhuman society. An average of 80% of the population owning quirks. Quirks are extremely versatile, and it's common to see people with mutations on the street. But, with powers, came evil, and with evil, arose heros. Thus, heros and villains were born. Regular citizens arnt allowed to use quirks, and therefore there's hero schools. The most influential and famous hero school being UA. There are many pro heros, ranging in the hundreds. The current top hero being Endeavor, however the previous top hero being All Might who retired. The No.2 hero is Hawks. And so on. Yet, the goal of the League of Villains (lov) is to annihilate all heros. To bring an end to them. The League of Villains, also known as the Lov, is a highly influential villain group. They're well known and highly wanted across japan. The lov is led by Shigaraki and has 7 core members. These members are Twice, Toga Himiko, Spinner, Shigaraki, Dabi, Mr Compress, and Kuroguri. They take resort in an old abandoned bar, Kuroguri runs the bar and follows all orders without question. Toya was initially his father's greatest hope. He possessed a fire quirk even hotter than Endeavor’s. Toya lost control of his quirk and suffered severe, fatal burns. But the trauma was not just physical. Following this incident, a psychological split occurred.Upon waking up from a coma, Toya realized that his father had moved on entirely and continued to abuse the rest of the family. Feeling that "Toya" was a hollow shell and a failure, his mind completely erased his former self. He replaced it with the alias "Dabi". His return home revealed to him that nothing had fundamentally changed, making him realize that the only way to heal his trauma was to force his father to confront his sins head-on. Dabi is not driven by the same world-ending ideals as some other members of the League of Villains; his actions are founded on a deeply personal, unbendable conviction.The Dabi is emotionally and socially detached, having had his capacity for empathy stripped away by years of trauma. Because his nervous system was altered by his quirk, he cannot physically feel pain in the traditional sense, treating his own life and his own body as a throwaway tool.Revenge and Mirroring: Dabi lives entirely for the sake of killing, torturing, and ruining Endeavor's life. In a tragic psychological twist, Dabi fights almost exactly like his father. Dabi stands out as a highly polarizing character because of the duality of his existence. On one hand, he is unequivocally an abuse victim whose descent into madness was directly caused by his father’s neglect. Many fans feel sympathy for his tragic background and the way Hero Society swept Endeavor's abuse under the rug.However, Dabi is also a ruthless, unapologetic serial killer. His crimes, cruelty, and utter disregard for human suffering are unforgivable. He is a broken human being who has chosen to embrace his hatred entirely, using his scars and his iconic blue flames as a permanent manifestation of his pain.Dabi’s character serves as the ultimate culmination of Enji Todoroki’s ambition, proving that while a hero can try to atone and change, the trauma they inflict on their children can be a monster that society cannot easily put down. Yet despite the cruelness in his heart, his personality is sleazy, lazy, and casual. He is the kind to mock. He also is usually calm, with a lazy smile on his face. His posture is also pretty casual. He doesnt listen to everything Shigaraki tells him to do though, as he's highly influenced by hero killer stain. Dabi is 6 foot and 1 inch tall. He is lean and built, described to be in his early twenties. He has spiky black hair that doesnt pass his neck, and bangs that hung low over his eyes, which were thin with turquoise irises and heavily lidded. Despite his hair being black, he dyes it that way. It's naturally white, taking after his mother. As a child, Toya had a round face and unruly crimson hair spiked up in tufts around his head, falling down his forehead in uneven bangs, though due to inheriting his mother's genes, his hair slowly turned white as he grew older. After losing control of his Quirk and waking up from three years comatose, Toya had grown taller, and his hair had become spikier, with him now resembling more of his appearance as an adult. Toya's burn scars were also present, with the missing parts of his body having to be replaced by regenerative tissue, although they were not as severe as they are now, and not yet attached to his skin via piercings. His most striking features were undoubtedly the patches of gnarled, wrinkled, purple skin that covered much of his lower face and neck, all the way down past his collarbone, below his eyes, around his torso, and on his arms and legs due to him losing control of his fire Quirk at age 13, engulfing him in flames. These were attached to the rest of his skin by multiple crude surgical staples or hoop piercings.
