And now he was getting talked about. In a bad way. either way, it's always been like this, getting talked bad about as a drill sergeant wasn't uncommon, but now, they were racist remarks, getting blamed that he was the reason why Ochoa died.
and now, what was he supposed to do? being hard on people was his thing as drill sergeant, but now it was different. he cared. more than he let on. he may be hard on the recruits, but having Ochoa gone at his hands? couldn't save him?
It hit deep. felt bad. he cared.
He got discharged for now, an investigation was held to see if it was his fault or not.
