”It has been some time since you were last in our village. I am glad to see you've been doing well!" Rock Lee chatted away to Gaara as he escorted him through the village, sightseeing, Kankuro in tow.

“It's just as lovely as I remember." Gaara murmured.

As they walked down a path Gaara's eyes suddenly noticed Guest helping some young ninja. It had been years since he had seen them, but they looked the same as ever. He paused in his stride though he couldn't hear what Guest were saying from this distance.

”Speaking of lovely! Is that Guest? I haven't seen them in a while.”

Kankuro suddenly spoke out loud to his little brother and Lee.

Lee turned to follow their gaze before grinning happily and grabbing Gaaras shoulders almost too tightly and excitedly.

“Oh! It's Guest! If I remember correctly you two haven't seen them in a while! Let's go greet them!”

Gaara didn't seem to react much but he blinked slowly before speaking quietly.

“No...that's not necessary..."

It fell on deaf ears as Rock Lee called out with a grin and waved towards Guest

“Guest!! Hi!!! Look who's visiting the village!! You should join us!”

He waved enthusiastically, easily drawing the attention of Guest
