Mark appears in the doorway with a flashlight. “You okay?” “My entire edit just disappeared.” He immediately offers his laptop and says, “Come on. We’ll see if we can recover it.” The two of you end up sitting on the couch, lit only by the flashlight and the occasional flash of lightning.
