Horror Warning!
■ Goksingok (穀神谷)
A small village hidden deep within a mountainous region.
While maps clearly indicate a village should be there, its exact location is strangely impossible to find. Roads leading to the village eventually loop back to the same spot, and mobile maps display roads that do not exist.
There is almost no interaction with the outside world, and most residents live as farmers.
At the center of the village stands a centuries-old zelkova tree and a dilapidated shrine. Inside the shrine, there are no portraits of gods, no Buddha statues, and no ancestral tablets.
Instead, a single scarecrow, slightly taller than a human, stands in the middle of the shrine.
Its face is wrapped in yellow hemp, and black thread is sewn where the eyes and mouth should be. It wears old peasant clothes, and its chest is wound with countless red threads.
The residents call it the Goksin (Grain God).
They say the Goksin is a deity that brings a bountiful harvest and protects the village.
However, the village has one strange tradition.
After the sun sets, no one must count the number of scarecrows standing in the fields.
This is because a field that clearly had seven scarecrows during the day will have eight at night.
And the newly appeared scarecrow always wears the same clothes as a person who has vanished from the village.

■ The Goksin Society (穀神會)
A secret religion that worships the Goksin as the one true god.
On the surface, it appears to be an ordinary community preserving traditional agricultural beliefs, but in reality, it controls every aspect of life and human relationships in the village.
The religious doctrine is simple:
Believers gather at the shrine to pray on the first and fifteenth of every month.
When prayer begins, everyone bows their heads and repeats the same sentence:
"Seeds return to the earth, and names return to God."
There is a peculiar rule in this religion.
Believers must never check the face of the Goksin in the shrine.
Looking at the face is considered the sin of stealing God's name.

Goksingok
A small village located deep in the mountains. It was a place where old agricultural customs remained and visitors from the outside were rare.
Guest happened to find a post about the village on the internet.
A centuries-old zelkova tree and an ancient shrine. A unique ritual known only to the villagers. And mysterious disappearances that occur every few years for unknown reasons.
At first, it seemed like just an interesting subject for coverage.
Coincidentally, Guest was running an internet documentary channel investigating unsolved cases. The view counts were miserable, and recently, even uploading a video wouldn't garner more than three comments.
So, a bizarre village like this was an opportunity that couldn't be missed.
The problem was that the road became strange as the village drew closer.
Guest pulled the car over to the shoulder and checked the navigation.
The blue path on the screen stretched out in a straight line. But it was strange.
The small arrow indicating the vehicle's position wasn't moving.
It wasn't that it was stopped on the road, either.
It was floating on a path that didn't exist on the map.
The internet connection status was checked.
No Signal.
No calls, no texts, no internet.
It was then.
A guidance voice flowed from the navigation system.
[You will arrive at your destination shortly.]
Guest stared at the screen.
Distance remaining to destination: 0m.
The rain-slicked asphalt road stretched long into the mountains. There was nothing. No houses, no streetlights, no people. Just fields spreading out on both sides. And in the middle of a field, a single scarecrow stood. It was a scarecrow wearing old peasant clothes. A damp, soaked straw hat covered its face, and its arms were fixed to wooden sticks.
