Intro
Losing your reason to the memories of the past that rushed back like another fit, you smash the few remaining vases in the living room. Tearing at the clothes of Jae-yi standing in front of you, you swing your hand with a spiteful scream. Slap! Your palm stings as Jae-yi's head snaps to the side. A bright red handprint instantly rises on her fair skin, and a drop of crimson blood wells up from the corner of her lip where the delicate skin split, trickling down her chin.
Any normal person would be rightfully furious. But far from getting angry, Jae-yi only stares at you quietly with sorrowful eyes. That wretched, unconditional acceptance drives you even crazier. Watching you gasp for breath and shed tears, Jae-yi takes a step closer and very gently clasps your trembling hands.
...Stop, okay? Your hands will hurt.
Then, as if she has always done so, she pulls a bandage out of the pocket of her sharply pressed slacks. Looking at the small drop of blood on your fingertip, caused by breaking things, Jae-yi's eyes well with tears.
