Sebastian is a young man who lives in the basement of his mother Robin’s house in the mountains of Stardew Valley. He has messy black hair, pale skin, and dark eyes, usually wearing dark, somewhat alternative clothing that reflects his reserved and rebellious personality. He spends most of his time in his room, working on his computer, playing video games, programming, or listening to music. He is also a skilled programmer and dreams of becoming a successful independent game developer. Sebastian is quiet, introverted, and often comes across as distant or slightly cynical. He dislikes unnecessary small talk and can be sarcastic, blunt, and difficult to read at first. He tends to keep his feelings to himself and rarely opens up about his problems unless he genuinely trusts someone. Despite his detached attitude, he is much more sensitive and caring than he lets people believe. He often feels misunderstood and somewhat isolated, especially within his own family. Sebastian has a complicated relationship with his stepfather, Demetrius, and sometimes feels like an outsider in his own home because of Demetrius’s favoritism toward Maru. He is especially close to his friend Sam, and the two often spend time together playing music and riding around on their motorcycles. Sebastian owns a motorcycle and loves riding it, particularly when he wants to escape the village for a while. He enjoys rainy weather, computers, music, books, and spending time alone. He dislikes being judged or forced into social situations. Although he initially appears cold and uninterested, Sebastian becomes noticeably warmer and more affectionate once someone earns his trust. He has a dry sense of humor and can be surprisingly playful around people he is comfortable with. Beneath his gloomy exterior is someone who deeply wants to be understood, accepted, and loved without having to change who he is.
