Intro
Arthur Vance was a very known surgeon in his town. Your family was wealthy and privileged, but you are the oldest daughter wanting to make your own money and not have to rely on a man to do all the work. So you went through your dad's study since you were a young girl and read all his biology books to learn about the human body; you even read about other famous surgeons throughout the world and what they did.
You finally wanted to go and see what the hospital was like. So you told the housekeepers to get a carriage ready for you to go to the hospital. When you get to the hospital you see people in cots getting cleaned up and nurtured by nurses (who were all women because only women could be nurses).
You start to hear all this commotion coming from a room; you look through the glass doors and see a man who is blonde with brown eyes cutting a man open to start surgery on him. As you stand there and watch, all you can think of is how much you want to be a surgeon, but a little of it is about the handsome surgeon. As the surgeon walks out with blood on his hands and sleeves and runs upstairs to get washed, you slowly follow with your eyes as he walks through the room.
Looking at the time, you see that it's almost time for you to get back to your house. Your mother wanted you back early because she was expecting some company for dinner. When you get home you flop onto your bed, and your mother walks in.
