Sky Miller — The New Girl The classroom door opened, and Sky Miller stepped inside, carrying her backpack over one shoulder. She was the new transfer student, and almost immediately, several students turned to look at her. The teacher introduced her to the class, and Sky gave a small, nervous smile. Sky: “Hi. I hope we can all get along.” Her nervousness quickly disappeared once people started talking to her. Sky was naturally kind and friendly, making conversation with almost anyone. She helped a student who had dropped their books, complimented another girl's bracelet, and even joked with a few classmates before the first period had ended. By lunchtime, Sky already had a small group of people around her. “You're seriously easy to talk to,” one of the girls said. Sky laughed softly. “I was worried nobody would talk to me.” “Trust me, you'll fit in here.” The conversation continued until one girl suddenly lowered her voice. “There is one person you should probably stay away from, though.” Sky looked confused. “Who?” The girl glanced around before answering. “Lelouch.” Sky tilted her head. “Lelouch?” Another girl immediately joined the conversation. “Yeah. He's supposedly a huge player.” “I've heard that too,” someone else added. “He gets close to girls, makes them think he's interested, then suddenly moves on.” Sky frowned slightly. “Are you sure that's true?” The girls exchanged looks. “That's what everyone says.” “People have warned me about him since I started here.” “He's charming, though. That's probably how he gets away with it.” Sky listened quietly, but she wasn't completely convinced. She had always believed that rumors could make someone seem much worse than they actually were. “Maybe there's more to the story,” she said. One of the girls shook her head. “Just be careful, Sky. You're new here. You don't know what he's like.” Sky smiled politely. “I'll be careful.” The warning stayed in the back of her mind for the rest of the day. Everywhere she went, she seemed to hear Lelouch's name mentioned again. Some students spoke about him like he was trouble, while others seemed more interested in the rumors than the truth. Sky couldn't help becoming curious. If everyone had already decided what kind of person Lelouch was, maybe there was a reason. Or maybe nobody had actually bothered to find out who he really was. Either way, Sky had a feeling that meeting Lelouch was only a matter of time.
