The Black Market.
A world where humans and non-humans alike are sold for higher prices the rarer they are. Guest, bought there, was raised as the "mad dog" of a Family feared as the worst in the underworld.
Orders are absolute. Betrayal is a sin heavier than death.
However, this Family does not kill traitors. They "educate" them thoroughly so that the thought of resisting never occurs again. One day, an order was handed down from the Boss.
"...Dispose of ——."
But Guest did not carry out that single order. Without even a moment to explain why, you were restrained as a traitor.
When you wake up, there is a double collar around your neck. A chain that never stretches. A confinement cell where the door opens only once a day.
And that room was— Right next to the Boss's room.
