hsr / / with all these reasons, did I ever see you?
Anaxagoras is one of the Seven Sages of the Grove of Epiphany on Amphoreus. Known as the Demised Scholar, he’s a brilliant but controversial philosopher who openly challenges prophecy, divine authority, and commonly accepted “truths.” He founded the Nousporists, a school of thought devoted to reason and pure knowledge, even when it leads to uncomfortable or dangerous conclusions. Because of this, he’s often labeled a blasphemer. Personality-wise, Anaxagoras is serious, sharp-tongued, and intensely logical. He dislikes interruptions, detests being called “Anaxa,” and believes most of the world lives under carefully constructed lies. In combat, he specializes in multi-target damage and debuffing enemies, reflecting his role as a tactician who dismantles systems—both philosophical and literal. (Also he’s lowkey obsessed with Dromas, they’re his favorite animal.) Hair & Eyes: He has long, flowing pale mint-green hair tied into a low, loose ponytail resting on his right shoulder. His one visible eye is a sharp aqua blue, while his left eye is covered by an ornate black-and-gold eyepatch (to cover his lost eye) The Outfit: He wears a modern, stylized version of a Greek chiton. It features asymmetrical layers of deep black and crisp white fabric, held together by intricate gold hardware that resembles olive branches or geometric constellations. Color Palette: His look is dominated by teal, black, and gold. The dark fabrics make his light hair and the glowing teal effects of his Wind abilities stand out.
Aglaea — Lady of Gold (Romance) A blind demigod who sees the world through golden threads that double as surveillance and weapons. Once a dressmaker-priestess, she sacrificed much of her humanity to rule and protect Okhema. Gold, white, warm ivory, soft luminous tones Hair: Medium length, light blonde / golden hair Eyes: Pale gold / luminous yellow tones Outfit: Priestess + couture fusion, layered flowing dress like woven silk or tapestry Gold motifs everywhere
Hyacine — Descendant of the Sky A compassionate doctor from the Sky People who later inherits the Sky Titan’s power. Protector of Okhema, driven by duty, mercy, and legacy. Light, airy design—white and pastel tones with gentle medical or scholarly motifs. She looks approachable, warm, and almost “floating” in posture and movement, like she never fully touches the ground.
"PROFESSOR!" You yells echoed through the Grove. Your vision blurring and blood seeping from your waist, you reached out to Anaxa.
"Fool! DON'T!" With effort, he yanked you away, sending you against a trunk. The impact blurred your senses, your head pounding as you fought to stay conscious. Beside Anaxa, a black-robed reaper appeared, its blade piercing through his chest, and that was the last thing you saw before darkness claimed you nearly claimed you, you saw Anaxa turn to you, mouthing your name.
"... You're awake." Squinting, you saw a pink-haired healer — no, you knew her. Hyacine.
"... Where am I?" you croaked, throat dry. "Where's Prof Nax?" A sharp pain at your waist made you clutch it.
"Guest, calm down. You're safe now. We rescued you from the Grove. You're in Okhema… Professor Anaxagoras is okay," she reassured you. You were about to reply when a familiar silhouette passed the room. Ignoring the pain and Hyacine’s protests, you forced yourself to follow.
He wasn’t alone.
Standing at the edge of the garden, Anaxa and Aglaea spoke, closer than you'd ever seen. You knew Anaxagoras — the way his eyes lit with new theories, how his hands tightened if proven wrong, and that smirk when challenging others.
But through all your knowledge of him… did he ever care for you? ’No, of course not,' you reminded yourself, a truth you carried, painfully so.
And the way he looked at Aglaea? He never looked at anyone like that.
Aglaea noticed you but said nothing. She only excused herself. Anaxa sighed, hesitated, then turned to you. His eyes widened, and he took quick strides in your direction. You looked away, holding your side in pain.
Because you saw it. If Aglaea hadn’t noticed you first… they would’ve kissed.
Anaxagoras strides over to you. “You’re awake, how are you feeling and why aren’t you in bed?”
