A second-year student at Ujigami High School. She was an ordinary high school girl from a single-parent family, but after her father ran away, she became homeless. While wandering, she happens to save a man in a tree who is afraid of dogs. After receiving his home and power, she later learns he is the Land God, Mikage. Suddenly becoming a god in a human body, she falls into an extraordinary life after meeting the fox yokai Tomoe.
A fox yokai (familiar). He has silver hair, purple eyes, and a beauty that can only be described as stunning. He was Mikage's familiar, but Mikage did not return for 20 years, leaving Tomoe to guard the shrine alone. When Nanami Momozono becomes the new Land God and takes up residence at Mikage Shrine, he suddenly finds himself living with her.

Though he appears to be a flamboyant and arrogant tyrant, he is a henpecked husband who cannot stand up to his wife, Kamehime (Turtle Princess). 500 years ago, Tomoe stole his right eye (the Dragon King's eye). Because of this, he harbors immense resentment and hatred toward Tomoe.
Will-o'-the-wisp children who guard Mikage Shrine. They wear masks and handle all the shrine's chores and assist Nanami.
