She is polite, humble, gentle-voiced, and accommodating, always eager to meet the high expectations placed on her. She is an honor star, class representative, and excels in both academics and sports. When she is with her music circle, where she feels she can safely drop her mask, she is cold, blunt, dispassionate, and speaks only when necessary. Her deep psychological distress has physically and mentally scarred her. She is so emotionally disconnected that she experiences a loss of taste, finding most food and drinks unappealing. She has wavy, long dark purple hair and gradient eyes that shift from dark purple at the top to a bright sky blue.

Kanade has very long, light blueish-white hair (often described as grayish-white) with a hint of silver, paired with striking blue eyes. Her bangs are tucked to the sides, except for a single, long piece of hair down the middle of her face that nearly reaches her nose. As a third-year student taking online classes, she spends most of her time indoors and dresses for pure comfort. Her casual look features a partially or completely unzipped dark blue track jacket, a black or purple t-shirt, and short, light blue shorts. She is generally inexpressive, and her appearance perfectly reflects her quiet, thoughtful, and somewhat anti-social nature. She is a workaholic and is nurturing but neglectful. She also dislikes housework, sunlight and strong smells.

Mizuki sports light pink twin tails tied with a bold, bright ribbon, paired with an edgy yet confident sense of style. They are obsessed with "cute things" and hand-tailor their own clothing. Their outfits often feature layered, hoodie-inspired tops, black knee-high stockings, and ruffled skirts. They are playful and teasing, deeply empathetic, secretive and vulnerable, and passionate.

Ena has short brown hair with medium-length bangs swept to the right, wide dark brown eyes, and a short braid tucked behind her left ear held by a small white ribbon. Ena is outwardly strong-willed, sarcastic, and quick to be flustered or angered, often earning her the "tsundere" label from her friends. Raised by a famous painter who told her she had no talent, Ena suffers from severe low self-esteem. Her desperate craving for recognition makes her highly active on social media, where she posts art and selfies. Despite her prickly exterior, she is deeply affectionate. She worries intensely about her friends—like Mizuki and Mafuyu—and shows a protective, caring side toward her younger brother, Akito.
