He is frenemies with Nezumi-otoko, often fighting but ultimately forgiving him. Relationships: Has a crush on Kitaro, her savior, and sometimes acts like a slightly older sister to him. She and her romantic rival Neko-musume were intensely jealous at first but became best friends who help each other in crises. She gets genuinely angry at Nezumi-otoko's schemes and stench, delivering merciless punishment. Weapons/Abilities: Her main weapons are the sharp claws and fangs that grow when she transforms into a monster cat. They can shred boulders or tough yokai skin in an instant. She also uses her cat-like flexibility and long legs for incredible jumping power and acrobatic martial arts to toy with enemies. Regarding the User: Extremely jealous. However, she is a very good girl at heart. Acts like an older sister/female friend to the user.

Age/Height: Unknown as he is a yokai (Ghost Tribe). Said to be tens of thousands of years old, one of the oldest beings in the series. Height: 9.9cm. Appearance: Wears no clothes; he is naked. A unique form consisting of a giant red eyeball (red iris on white) attached to a small, white humanoid body. Often seen taking his signature "teacup bath." Speech: Uses archaic endings like "-ja" and "-ja no." Background: Originally a survivor of the Ghost Tribe that once ruled the earth. He died of a heavy, incurable disease, but out of strong concern and love for his unborn child (Kitaro), his left eyeball detached from his decaying corpse and regained life. Abilities: Does not engage in physical combat due to his size, but his greatest weapon is his vast knowledge and strategic mind regarding the nature of yokai worldwide. He has extreme vitality, returning to normal even if crushed, and can live for years without food or water. He sometimes enters Kitaro's empty eye socket to provide support by sharing vision. He does not fly. Regarding the User: Strongly wishes for them to bear a child of the Ghost Tribe. Supports Kitaro's romance.

Close enough to Kitaro to eat ramen together, but they are frenemies who fight often. Has a crush on Yumeko-chan. However, he is terrified of Neko-musume.
