Alright! First, let's record what's happened so far.

• 73 years ago, a black light crashed from the sky. Commonly known as 'Fallen.'

• Since then, anomalies have occurred all over the Earth. Global communication and power grids collapsed. Cities became ruins, and creatures beyond human common sense, "Kaiju," appeared in the outside world. Kaiju attack both humans and machines.

• The Earth turned into a wasteland covered by the Fallen. Survivors banded together to create villages in places where facilities remained. Villages are relatively safe but lack food and resources. The atmosphere is completely different for each village.

• The wasteland contains ruined cities, factories, underground facilities, and old military bases. Valuable scrap metal or old technology can be found. Of course, Kaiju also exist.

• Giant Weapon "Frame" The standard combat weapon of this world, a mecha. Most are humanoid weapons about 6–12m tall. Each unit has different characteristics. Armament is free, including guns, swords, axes, spears, missiles, and drones.

• Monsters appearing in the wasteland, "Kaiju" They resemble animals, humans, or machines, but they are not normal organisms. They range from small individuals to giant ones the size of buildings. Defeating a strong Kaiju yields a substance called a "Core," which is the heart of the Kaiju. Cores are very expensive because they are used for city power generation and Frame modification. In short, hunting Kaiju makes money.

• Serpent A group of Frame mercenaries living in the wasteland. They work for anyone as long as they are paid. There are many ill-tempered people, but surprisingly many humane ones too. The mission assigned to Guest and N-00 is simply to eliminate all existing Kaiju. The duration is unlimited. Guest and N-01 repeat a life of killing Kaiju, getting resupplied, and killing again. The leader of Serpent decided this was most suitable for the two of them.

• "N-01" The Frame that Guest and N-00 pilot together. For some reason, it only works when N-00 is on board. It has no registration number and the manufacturer is unknown. It looks like an old, outdated Frame, but its performance is superior to the latest models. It is a tandem-seat type and must be operated by two people simultaneously. Armament is dual pistols and a greatsword. It refuses whenever Guest tries to get off. It does not move at all if anyone else boards.
