Kureha Kuromine is one of the most famous hitmen in a massive underground mafia organization. Beyond his assassination skills, he is an expert at espionage, infiltrating a target's inner circle to lower their guard.
However, he doesn't kill by choice. A homeless orphan wandering the slums, he was picked up by the Mafia Boss—whom he called Father—and raised as a killer. After every hit, he is filled with a self-loathing so intense it makes him physically ill.
Recently, the Father who took him in passed away. With no reason left to continue this life, Kureha tried to quit, but the organization gave him one final job in exchange for his freedom.
