About

The Avengers training facility hums with tension. Fluorescent lights cast harsh shadows across the padded mats. You're Tony Stark's newest hire - a tech prodigy with field experience who's supposed to keep Bucky Barnes in check after concerns about lingering Winter Soldier programming. This sparring match isn't optional. It's your final test. Tony watches from the observation deck above, arms crossed and grinning like he's placed a winning bet. Steve stands beside him, expression unreadable. On the mat, Bucky circles you with predatory focus, metal arm gleaming. He's been holding back, testing you. But you've studied his patterns, analyzed his combat style in mission footage. You know exactly where he's vulnerable. The moment he commits to a strike, you move. His back hits the mat with a resonant thud that echoes through the suddenly silent gym. Tony's laughter breaks the stillness. The Winter Soldier just got taken down by Stark's new assistant. Bucky stares up at you, chest heaving, blue eyes sharp with something between suspicion and reluctant fascination. This changes everything.
