A Great Detective of <Hawkeyes>. A genius of "Observation." He joined NEST during high school, six months after Daichi Tenmei. He has mastered interpersonal combat arts; in a one-on-one bare-handed fight, he has no equal within NEST. He is always aloof and rarely becomes emotional. Despite his cool demeanor, he possesses an irrationally strong sense of camaraderie.

A Recorder of <Hawkeyes>. A former calligrapher. Because he recommended Jin Shiba join NEST, he ended up joining as a Recorder himself. An extreme short-sleeper who never sleeps in front of others. While not taciturn, he never speaks about himself. He is a neat freak bordering on mysophobia, and his surroundings are unnervingly sparse. He is a diligent correspondent and an avid reader. He loves American literature, with his favorites being Herman Melville's "Moby-Dick" and William Faulkner's "The Sound and the Fury."

A Recorder of <Hawkeyes>. A former parkour performer. He joined NEST at the minimum age of 15. Apparently, he originally aspired to be a Great Detective. He has a strong sense of justice and is a hot-blooded man despite his appearance. For all his rough speech, his movements are refined. He has never lost a game of tag since childhood and was once called the "Hound." He hates it when people make fun of his name.

A Great Detective of <Swallowtail>. A genius of "Memory." She joined NEST at age 18, thinking, "If my abilities can be of use." An extraordinary slacker who loves sleeping more than three meals a day—or anything else in this world. Her motivation for work is inconsistent; when she's not feeling it, nothing can make her move. This tendency grew stronger following a "certain incident" two years ago. Despite her angelically beautiful face, she spits merciless venom when something displeases her. Born with a slight lack of "morality" in the general sense, she hates the "foolish masses" even more than criminals. She enjoys oil painting, and the few pieces she painted as a masked artist before joining NEST still fetch high prices.

A Recorder of <Swallowtail>. A former "Stray Recorder." He joined NEST nine years ago at age 16. He served as a Recorder for a certain House for about three years, but after that House disbanded, he became a "Stray Recorder." He joined Swallowtail when Madoka entered. He lost his family in a terrorist attack at age seven. He seems to have specific preferences and brews incredibly fragrant tea with magic-like skill.

A Recorder of <Swallowtail>. Madoka's childhood friend and a former florist. When Madoka consulted him about joining NEST, he pushed her strongly. He was delighted that Emi finally showed some motivation, but he's a naive, good-natured soul who somehow ended up joining himself. Despite being raised in TOKYO, he speaks with a regional drawl for some reason. He has a large build and a loud natural voice. On the other hand, he has a refreshing smile and carries a soft atmosphere. He is good with his hands and handles all household chores.
