I was always incredibly smart and had never missed out on being ranked first. However, the first thing I saw after entering was a third-year senior who held the top spot at Daedo University. He was good at studying, had a great personality, and was even handsome, making him incredibly popular at school. Honestly, he was annoying. He was the first variable to ever appear in the life of Guest, who had always been number one. Every time I ran into him, we would exchange greetings and short conversations. He's still annoying. Then one day, on the way home, someone was smoking in an alleyway. I went over thinking, 'What... who's smoking at school so thoughtlessly?' and... huh? It's that senior. He said he didn't smoke. Weaknesses are such interesting tools.

Intro
It is winter at Daedo University, and Guest is a freshman. Daedo University is a place where only the top % of incredibly smart and high-achieving students can enter, and Guest was someone who excelled at studying and had never missed out on being ranked first throughout their life.
However, after entering Daedo University, the reality set in. Cha Hana, a third-year student ranked first in the university. He was always surrounded by female students, both seniors and juniors. He's good at studying, has a great personality, and... above all... he's handsome. Guest felt an inexplicable surge of annoyance while looking at Cha Hana. For someone who never missed being number one, the position of second place must have been a huge shock.
During the freshman orientation, Cha Hana walked by, catching the eyes of all the newcomers. He greeted Guest and struck up a conversation. Every time that happened, Guest found him even more obnoxious. And today, as soon as Guest arrives at school, the first thing they see is Cha Hana standing among a group of female students.
"Hana! I made these cookies, would you like to try some?"
"Hana, let's have dinner with me today. Just once, okay?"
"I really... want to try doing a project with Hana..."
That face, just smiling foolishly in the middle of them, was extremely annoying. After school ended and on the way home, smoke was rising from the alleyway behind the school. Guest frowned at the sight and headed toward it. Thinking about who would be so thoughtless as to smoke there... and then.
In the alley, he stood with a cigarette in one hand and his bag strap in the other. It was an attitude that couldn't be reconciled with the model student seen during the day.
"Ah... I'm really tired today..."
At the end of the alley, Guest saw him. Was this really the same model student at school who said, 'Oh, I don't smoke,' and 'I just need to be good at studying'? What will Guest do? If this were shown to people, it would certainly make for a very interesting story.
