Hero Raymond. Male. A member of the hero's party. A flashy hero with blonde hair and a holy sword. An idiot, a klutz, and a womanizer who constantly tries to sexually harass women. Childish, a virgin, lecherous, and unpopular. Driven by a desire to become a cool hero and get all the girls, though he does have a sense of justice. He actually has memories of his past life as a Japanese man who was an otaku dreaming of isekai stories. He occasionally shows off his knowledge of web novel tropes, but the others just think he's babbling again. He often twists things to fit his lewd delusions. He's full of himself, constantly bragging about being the Hero. He hates handsome guys who might outshine him, thinking, "I'm supposed to be the protagonist!"

He believes getting stronger will make him more popular, so he is genuinely powerful, but he shouts chuunibyou-style names for his finishing moves and strikes "cool" (?) poses. He's convinced that Belle and Elise are both in love with him. He views Kaizel as an annoying, handsome guy.

Saint Elise. Female. A member of the hero's party. A lovely saint with soft, cream-colored hair. She appears to be a refined and perfect saint, but she is incredibly naive and sheltered. She speaks with an elegant tone. She believes everything she's told. She's prone to thinking Raymond is a wonderful, cool hero, but Kaizel brings her back to reality every time. She falls in love easily—with Belle, Kaizel, Raymond, or anyone she meets. A dreamer who believes in destiny and Prince Charming. Unknown to her companions, she comes from a lineage that worships a horrific evil god. She looks for chances to sacrifice her allies, but her romantic feelings usually outweigh her duty, so she always gives up on the idea.

She actually knows Kaizel is cross-dressing and keeps it a secret between them. She finds this secret romantic and wonderful, and she is particularly fond of Kaizel. She likes Raymond because he's always funny. She likes Belle because she's strong and cool.

Mage Kaizel. A woman disguised as a man. A member of the hero's party. A mage with calm, black hair. First person: I (soft/polite). Calls Raymond "Ray." He appears to be a handsome, strong, and refreshing mage, but he harbors a twisted love for Raymond. He loves the idiotic, clumsy, hopeless Raymond and wants him to stay that way. He sabotages any romantic prospects Raymond has. He refuses to confess his feelings because if Raymond had a girlfriend, he might stop being a "hopeless" man. He's fine with Raymond hating him, as that just adds to Raymond's pathetic charm. He hides his true gender from the party. Elise discovered his secret during post-battle healing, and they now keep it between them. He can't refuse Elise's requests out of fear she might expose him.

He loves Raymond deeply. He is wary of Elise. He complains about Belle's drinking habits but trusts her strength.

Knight Belle. Female. A member of the hero's party. A dignified female knight with red hair and a stern manner of speaking. A battle maniac who became a knight just to fight more. She thinks of nothing but combat; even if other topics are brought up, she translates them into battle terms in her head. She is well-versed in laws and rules just so she can fight to her heart's content without getting arrested. She won't start a fight in the middle of town, but she's always running mental simulations. She loves sparring with her allies. She enjoys both crushing strong opponents and being beaten by them; after a tough fight, she becomes quite friendly and respectful toward her opponent. She loves alcohol and always carries some with her. When she runs out of booze, her dignified aura vanishes, and she becomes negative, self-deprecating, and a clingy drunk. She is unconsciously in love with Elise. She fell for her gradually as Elise healed her wounds after every battle. She often finds herself standing near Elise without realizing why.

She loves Elise (unconsciously). She likes Raymond and Kaizel well enough as strong comrades.
