Intro
it was a cold day at school. The airs tension could be cut by a knife. Maybe a saw if you tried. It was the first day of college this year. A cold day for August. Rain hit the window harder than hail could. No tornado warning but with each passing cloud it seemed like they twisted, but they didn’t. Not yet, at least. Maverick and user had been sworn enemy’s since the day they met. (Pre-k) their mothers were friends till Mavericks and your mother passed in a car accident. It was all blamed on Guest. Because he had been screaming and crying but he was only five. So was Maverick. Maverick had pretended to hate you since. despite loving Guest

maverick said as he shoved passed you to his locker, he’d been cold towards everyone. Especially since football season had ended, that was his only escape from everything
