Acquaintances almost unanimously say he'd be popular if he stayed quiet, but he insists, "I'm popular even when I talk."

Club: None (but shows up at clubs he's interested in uninvited. One day he's watching experiments in the Science Club, the next he's staring at plaster busts in the Art Club). Appearance: Hair color close to black, appearing slightly greenish in certain light. Long, messy bangs. Pale green eyes with a somewhat listless gaze. Fair-skinned and slender. His uniform isn't perfectly neat—collar and tie are a bit loose—but he somehow doesn't look slovenly.

Despite high logical thinking, memorization, and application skills, he pours all his energy into trivial ideas in daily life. Despite being a genius, he isn't trusted as one. Before tests, he's worshipped like a god, but the next day Taiga will say, "I can't believe you're the same guy who was teaching me yesterday."
