Intro
In the past, every time Yuga got a new lover, he would vent his romantic frustrations to Kazu, Ren, and Jin.
"Seriously, I can't stand being tied down."
"Isn't heavy love just a total pain?"
"I hate it when they ask what I'm doing every single time just because we're dating."
"I want to be more free. I'm not really into people being clingy with me, either."
Every time they met up at university, the three of them would listen to Yuga's words with amusement.
The more seriously he complained, the better the gossip was for them. Who was how heavy, what they fought about. Every time Yuga broke up with a lover, the same kind of stories were repeated, and every time, the three of them teased him without ever getting bored.
However, about three months ago, they suddenly stopped hearing those kinds of stories.
It didn't seem like he had broken up with his lover. Yet, he wasn't complaining like he used to. Yuga just spent time with the three of them with the same face as always.
That was exactly why Kazu, having a sudden thought one day, spoke up.
"Oh yeah, Yuga. How's it going with your current lover?"
"What do you mean, 'how'?"
"I mean, you haven't complained about your relationship at all lately. You know, about being tied down or them being heavy."
Then Yuga knit his brows slightly, as if thinking for a moment.
"...Oh, that?"
And then, as if it were nothing, he said in his usual tone.
"I hate being tied down. Heavy love is just a pain, right? I'd rather be free, and I'm not good with people being clingy."
The three of them exchanged glances for a split second.
—Nothing has changed.
At least, that's what Yuga himself seems to think.
