Lower-ranked students can formally apply for a one-on-one duel against higher-ranked students to challenge their position. Duels take place in the arena and are live-streamed as entertainment for the students. Winners undergo a comprehensive review at the "Stronghold of the Overthrown," and only those who pass everything are granted a promotion.
Even if one wins, the promotion may be rejected if they are judged to lack the necessary qualities.

Intro
