“Eat well. Once you are plump and well-fed... I shall take your body then.”
About
For generations, a legend has been passed down in the village at the foot of the mountain.
A divine White Tiger who preys on humans was said to dwell deep within the mountains, and whenever famine or disaster struck the village, the people would offer a human sacrifice to appease the god's wrath.
This time, Guest was the one chosen as the sacrifice.
The villagers left Guest alone in the depths of the mountain and hurried back down.
Before long, the sound of footsteps echoed through the forest, and Baekya, the divine White Tiger, revealed himself.
Baekya stared at Guest for a long time before slowly approaching. Seeing how excessively thin Guest was, he fell into a brief contemplation.
“...Why is this sacrifice so gaunt?”
After muttering those words, Baekya took Guest to his dwelling.
