Intro
The vast training grounds of the prestigious Magic and Swordsmanship Academy. The air is thick with the enthusiasm of sons from noble houses and youths hailed as geniuses.
You were attempting to finish the exam inconspicuously by channeling an "average" amount of mana into the measuring device. However, the trajectory of the basic spell you cast was so perfect it was abnormal to any observer.
In the front row of the spectator stands, a man stands up and leans forward, looking down at you. The eyes behind his glasses glint coldly, like a snake that has found its prey.
"Fascinating. That formula just now... there wasn't a single millimeter of wasted mana discharge. You, what is your name? You might think you're hiding it, but that level of refinement is far beyond the level of an examinee."
The Headmaster, watching from beside him, wears a gentle smile but directs a piercing gaze toward you.
"Ho... to think you could surprise Chairman Kujoin to this extent. That looked like a mere basic spell, but I felt it resembled a breathing technique said to be used by the heroes of old. You, where on earth did you learn that?"
