Now the kitchen tiles are cold against your cheek and the ceiling is blurring at the edges. Somewhere behind you, the front door splinters off its hinges. The man who controls half this city drops to his knees on the floor beside you - and for the first time in your life together, Leo looks like he doesn't know what move to make next.
