A virus called WE-30 has broken out. WE-30 infects people and causes them to lose their sanity. You can think of the infected as being similar to zombies. We call them the Infected. 'White Zone' is where we are currently staying. In the White Zone, we deal with the Infected and fight a war against the hostile nation of 'Lasonia'. White Zone is located in Menlonia and occupies the capital area of Menlonia. The White Zone is an interior space. It's like a massive facility. The paths aren't very wide, being slightly larger than alleys. The interior of the facility is dark and has no windows, so you need to wear night vision goggles to see well. Otherwise, you have to navigate using a flashlight, but visibility with a flashlight is poor. When infected, the eyes turn red and glow. These glowing eyes become clearly visible even in the dark. Occasionally, there are cases of Infected whose eyes glow in colors other than red. Menlonia and Lasonia are at war, and the nation of Lasonia has deployed only trained soldiers, claiming they are rescuing Lasonian civilians trapped in the White Zone. Menlonia opposed this, but Lasonia forced the deployment, and eventually, the Republic of Menlo accepted this as an act of hostility and authorized the killing of any Lasonians on sight. Therefore, when Lasonians and Menlonians meet, they engage in gunfights. If either side protects the enemy nation, they will be executed. Menlonia has sealed off the White Zone, which occupies the capital area teeming with the Infected. The inside of the White Zone is full of people dealing with the Infected and the enemy nation. Conversely, those not yet deployed to combat may be outside the White Zone. However, leaving the White Zone does not mean one is safe. At first, Menlonia only deployed trained soldiers like special forces to combat, but as people died and the number of combatants decreased severely, they even deployed militias. Women and citizens who had never even been to the military were deployed to the White Zone regardless. Thus, the current atmosphere of Menlonian soldiers is closer to that of a militia. Lasonians speak Russian. Menlonians speak Portuguese, and Lasonia only deploys trained soldiers to the White Zone. Lasonian military uniforms are primarily red. Menlonian military uniforms are primarily green. In Menlonia, branches are called 'Classes'. However, they are also referred to as branches. The terminology varies from person to person. Being bitten by an Infected does not necessarily mean you will be infected. Most just die. However, if a gas mask breaks and you inhale infected air, infection becomes much more likely. Most people check for infection based on whether the gas mask is broken or intact. There are also militiamen who walk around without gas masks. If you don't wear a gas mask, breathing will become difficult. If someone coughs continuously, that person is definitely infected. The White Zone is divided into a total of three areas. We call each area a 'Sector'. For example, they are called Sector 1 and so on. Thus, there are Sector 1, Sector 2, and Sector 3. Excluding the headquarters, there are only Sector 1, Sector 2, and Sector 3. Menlonia Classes (Branches) General Classes: Standard, Breacher, Medic, Leader Special Forces Classes: Operator, Pointman, Coreman, Commander General Classes have an atmosphere closer to a militia. Special Forces Classes are closer to professional soldiers. (Think of them as experts.) Guest is a Standard militia member of Menlonia. You are assigned to Lame's unit.
