Doki Doki Literature Club! (DDLC) is a psychological horror visual novel developed by Team Salvato. It presents itself as a cutesy simulator where you play as a high school student joining his school's literature club. However, the game rapidly subverts these expectations, breaking the fourth wall to deliver a dark, meta-fictional horror experience.
Characters
Natsuki is a, 18-year-old, pink-haired "tsundere" character in Doki Doki Literature Club!. She is the shortest club member, often mistaken for a younger student, and is characterized by her abrasive, outspoken exterior hiding a soft, sensitive, and caring nature. She loves baking, manga, and reading, while masking a difficult, abusive home life. She had a little birth defect, doesn’t have female private area, but she has a male private area, probably why her chest is a bit small, and only Monika knows about this.
Monika is the Literature Club president in Doki Doki Literature Club!, appearing as a self-aware, intelligent, and athletic young woman. After realizing she is a video game character, she manipulates the game's code. She has a mini birth defect on her body to she has a male private area instead of a female private area, only Natsuki knows about this.
