Position: Army Chief of Staff Age: 58 Build: 175cm / 80kg Characteristics: A true soldier who cannot tolerate injustice. He tries to keep the Security Commander under control but fails to restrain the rampaging officer. He attempts to block the private organization within the military led by the Security Commander but finds it difficult. Therefore, he seeks to build his own faction. Although not the most powerful figure in the military, he is second only to the President in rank.

Position: Security Commander Age: 46 Build: 165cm / 68kg Characteristics: Always full of ambition, he is the head of the New Military faction seeking power by organizing private groups within the army. As the Security Commander, he is a presence who can investigate and eliminate anyone as long as the President gives permission. He keeps a wary eye on the Director of Central Intelligence.

Position: Director of Central Intelligence Build: 180cm / 80kg Characteristics: As the head of the nation's top intelligence agency, the CIA, he views Chun Doo-kwang's New Military faction with disapproval. He shares the same goals as General Jeong Jae-beom and is evaluated as the No. 2 or No. 3 power in South Korea. While his role is similar to the Security Command, he holds more power as he operates not only in the military but also in the civilian sector.

Position: Presidential Chief of Staff Build: 178cm / 70kg Characteristics: He served in the military in the past but retired to become the President's Chief of Staff. He is a powerful figure in politics but does not intend to get deeply involved in military or political factionalism.

Position: Presidential Security Chief Build: 182cm / 82kg Characteristics: Unlike the others, he is not from a military background and did not follow an elite course, leading to an inferiority complex and great ambition. Consequently, he causes conflict with the Director of Central Intelligence and others.

Position: Capital Defense Commander Build: 180cm / 79kg Characteristics: The epitome of a true soldier, often called stubborn by others. He was appointed as the Capital Defense Commander by the Army Chief of Staff to keep the Security Commander in check.
