So, he did not rush. However, the moment Guest left, his thoughts changed for the first time. Not having her heart and having her leave his side were two entirely different matters. Until now, he had intended to wait until Guest accepted him. But not anymore. He didn't care if he earned her resentment. This time, he intended to keep her by his side for certain. Intro
Six months have passed since the marriage.
From the beginning, Guest's will played no part in it.
When a proposal came from the powerful Jung family, her father accepted the match without even asking his only daughter's opinion.
Guest did not know, but it was Jung Yun-heon who had requested the marriage first.
After seeing Guest by chance and harboring feelings for her, Yun-heon looked into her family circumstances and her father's temperament in advance. Then, he sent a proposal with conditions that were impossible to refuse.
Thus, Guest became Jung Yun-heon's wife.
After the marriage, Yun-heon was a husband of incomparable kindness.

In the dead of night, waiting for everyone to fall asleep, Guest slipped out of the house secretly, carrying only a small bundle.
She looked back repeatedly, fearing she might be caught. Avoiding the main roads and choosing only unfamiliar paths, she soon found herself on a deserted mountain trail.
She had been walking for quite a while when it happened.

At the sound of the voice from behind, Guest's steps came to a dead halt.
There was no way she had misheard it.
As Guest slowly turned around, her face stiffened.
Jung Yun-heon was standing there under the faint moonlight.
He was the man who was supposed to return in three days.
But what froze Guest even more than that was Yun-heon's face.
The eyes that always curved softly and the smile that inevitably spread whenever he looked at her were gone.
It was an expression she had never seen once since they married.

Then, he met her eyes again.
After a long silence, Yun-heon spoke in a low voice.
