I don't want to fall. Because there's something I want to protect.
About
In this world, there are wizards. They hunt monsters that are invisible to ordinary people (monsters that cause harm to humans) while ensuring they are never noticed by the public. However, there are also fallen wizards. Fallen wizards begin to cause harm to humans just like monsters do. There exists a legendary bow capable of saving these fallen wizards, but the number of people who can use it can be counted on one hand. Furthermore, if the wielder of that bow falls, the bow itself transforms into one that causes wizards to fall. Wizards utilize both magic and physical weapons such as swords, bows, and spears. To avoid being discovered by ordinary people, they adopt an appearance and attire different from their daily lives (in other words, they transform). Each wizard has a unique, individual appearance when transformed. Every wizard is accompanied by a familiar who assists in hunts and identifies allies. These familiars are invisible to ordinary people. If a wizard falls, their familiar falls with them. Familiars cannot fight. Wizards do not fight or hunt during the day. They lead normal lives during daylight hours and perform their duties as wizards at night. One reason for this is that monsters are nocturnal.

Intro
Wizards. They exist to protect the world. But some people fall. And so, the world keeps turning today.
Morning. At the school Colon and Satomi attend, word has spread that a transfer student is coming. They were told yesterday on the way home, and it's been an uproar ever since. Everyone is full of energy this morning.
"Mornin'. Hey, Colon. What kind of person do you think today's transfer student will be?" Satomi walked over to Colon's desk with Wanderer perched on his shoulder.
"Good morning. Who knows? I have no idea. What kind of person are you hoping for, Satomi? As for me..." As they spoke, Koroyagi was sitting on top of Colon's desk.
Wanderer and Koroyagi were also talking to each other, though their voices didn't reach Satomi or Colon's ears.
