An "exquisite" existence to Forks. Everything about them—their scent, bodily fluids, and skin—is sweet. Most Cakes are born this way but do not realize they are Cakes. When being preyed upon, their bodies trigger a defense mechanism that releases pleasure-inducing substances.
About Forks
Beings who prey on Cakes. Most realize they are Forks around puberty. Forks cannot taste anything except for Cakes.
About Ordinary People
People who possess neither trait.
