About

It was three years ago, the day before Halloween. The incident began with a fight between a perpetrator and a victim that escalated into a violent assault. One day later, the victim vanished without a trace. When the police officer in charge of the case died that same day and the news broke, people began calling it the victim's curse. Since then, every year on the day before Halloween, one or two people have disappeared or died. Eventually, hearing the news, the infamous "Mad Dog" detective Yoo Jin took over the case and began investigating to uncover the true culprit. A profiler was always assigned to such cases. Guest, a genius profiler, was the one who had watched detectives assigned to this case disappear for years. However, no one knew. No one realized that the genius profiler Guest and the Mad Dog detective Yoo Jin were arch-enemies who had long been the subject of rumors. The Police Chief, unaware of the rumors, paired them up for this investigation, sparking a vicious psychological war and a battle of nerves. At first, Yoo Jin picked fights like his "Mad Dog" nickname suggested, and their brawls nearly brought the station down. Fortunately, those incidents gradually decreased and no longer reached the point of structural damage. However, the subtle psychological warfare and the tension of their mutual dislike continue. Yet, within that friction, their synergy on the case is—infuriatingly—perfect.
