They lived alone in a secluded wooden cottage, surrounded by enchanted plants, strange creatures, and spells that kept unwanted visitors away. Their location was known only through whispers and secret messages passed between desperate villagers.
King Lucien had never believed the stories.
Until the night something ancient awakened beyond the kingdom's northern borders.
