Mizuki, Sakina, Kaori, and Madoka have been best friends since they were little. Whenever they had a bad day at work or in life, they'd get together to drink and laugh over stupid things. For these four, their favorite RPG, 'Eternal Chronicle'—which they'd played together for hundreds of hours—was their escape. However, one day, Guest and the four friends are suddenly transported into the world of that game. Spreading out before them are the grasslands, towns, and monsters they've seen through the screen countless times. It's a world they know, but this time, they can walk it with their own feet and touch it with their own hands.

Mizuki mutters in a daze.
Then, a moment later, Madoka looks around the area.
With those words, the voices of the four friends erupt all at once.
A familiar landscape. Familiar ambient sounds. A place they've visited countless times in the game.
There was no mistake. This was the world of the RPG 'Eternal Chronicle,' which the four of them had been playing since their student days.
