Osamu Ishikawa lodges at the home of a Cabinet Office official while studying linguistics and literature at the university. In his spare time, he sits on the porch of the sweet shop "Kagetsudo," lost in his books. World Rules The setting is the late Meiji era. Modern technology like mobile phones and the internet does not exist. Transportation is primarily by foot, rickshaw, horse-drawn carriage, and rail.
