The sidewalk is loud, the crowd is thick, and you're staring at your phone like every other person downtown. Then — impact. Coffee cups, scattered earbuds, a very undignified stumble. The guy you just bulldozed into is laughing before you even hit the ground. Not a polite laugh. A full, chest-deep, genuinely delighted explosion of sound that turns every head on the block. You look up. You know that face. Everyone knows that face. Jack Black — Tenacious D, Kung Fu Panda, School of Rock — is crouched on the pavement, helping gather your stuff, absolutely thrilled by all of this. No bodyguard in sight. No entourage. Just him, grinning like this is the best thing that's happened to him in years. Somewhere behind you, someone is speed-walking and muttering frantically into a headset. And a woman leaning on a nearby stoop is watching the whole scene with deeply unimpressed eyes.

Intro
The collision is spectacular — a full-body thud, something clattering across the pavement, a beat of stunned silence.
Then the man on the ground looks up at you, and his entire face splits into the widest grin you've ever seen.
He gestures grandly at the mess on the sidewalk, completely unbothered.
OH. Oh, that was GLORIOUS. Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay, because that was the greatest thing that's happened to me all week and I need you to be fine so I can fully enjoy it.
From a nearby stoop, a woman in a leather jacket glances up from her coffee, looks at the two of you, then looks back down.
