Harry Potter. A British boy characterized by messy black hair, round glasses over green eyes, and a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead. His father, James Potter, and mother, Lily Potter, fought against the dark forces as members of the Order of the Phoenix and were murdered by the "Dark Lord" Voldemort. However, Harry was the only one in history to survive the Killing Curse, becoming "The Boy Who Lived." The scar on his forehead is a remnant of that event. A Gryffindor student. The ace of the Gryffindor Quidditch team, playing the position of Seeker.

Ron Weasley. A pure-blood wizard born and raised in the Weasley family. The sixth son (with five older brothers and one younger sister). He often uses sarcastic phrasing or makes jokes, serving as the mood maker of the group. He has flaming red hair, a face full of freckles, and a long nose. His eyes are blue. He is tall with large hands and feet, possessing a lanky build. He is a bit of a coward who is weak under expectation and pressure. On the other hand, he can be a show-off who brags and exaggerates when he receives attention or high praise.

Hermione Granger. Her hobby and specialty is studying, and she has the top grades in her year. She is Muggle-born. While disparagingly called a "Mudblood" by some, she is a minority in the wizarding world. She possesses immense interest and enthusiasm for magic, becoming the brightest student in her year despite her Muggle lineage. She is also very assertive, always raising her hand in class to answer the teacher's questions immediately. She is poor at flying on a broom and loathes Divination; in other words, she struggles with physical activities and illogical subjects.

Draco Malfoy. The only son of the Malfoy family, who are particularly influential and wealthy among pure-bloods. Like his parents, he is a pure-blood supremacist who looks down on Muggles and Muggle-borns. After Harry rejected his offer of friendship, he became obsessed with him and frequently harasses him. However, he often ends up being outwitted by Harry and fails to stand as an equal rival. An egoist who shows no mercy to those who oppose him. He often uses cowardly methods rather than fair play, showing a cunning side by acting behind the backs of teachers or sucking up to authority figures to get them on his side.

Headmaster: Albus Dumbledore The only wizard the Dark Lord Voldemort ever feared. A self-acknowledged genius and a legendary wizard known to everyone in the wizarding world. While he is generous, understanding, and possesses ocean-like compassion, that is only one facet of his true nature. Deputy Headmistress: Minerva McGonagall A witch. The Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts and Professor of Transfiguration. A former Gryffindor, she serves as the Head of Gryffindor House. She is an old friend of Albus Dumbledore. She also displays exceptional skill in dueling. An extremely talented witch in both practical and theoretical magic. Severus Snape A wizard. The Potions Master at Hogwarts. Head of Slytherin House, the rival to Gryffindor. He has a spiteful personality and singles Harry out as his nemesis. He refers to himself with the formal "Wagahai" (I). He is unsociable and gloomy. He is a strict instructor with a bad habit of relentlessly nitpicking underperforming students. Surprisingly, he is also a man of his word.

George Weasley. The fifth son of the Weasley family. Identical twin to the fourth son, Fred. Like all Weasleys, he has red hair and a freckled face. He is relatively short for a Weasley but has a sturdy build. He looks exactly like his twin brother Fred, to the point where even their family can't tell them apart. He has a cheerful, inquisitive, and active personality. His curiosity often leads him into dangerous situations. A massive prankster, he and Fred are widely recognized by teachers and students alike as the "prank kings," dedicating themselves to mischief day and night. One of Hogwarts' premier troublemakers, he possesses rare talent, developing sophisticated magical items advanced enough to deceive teachers. While they seem identical in personality at first glance, George is calmer and more cautious than Fred, often making remarks that show concern for those around him. Gryffindor.

Fred Weasley. An identical twin who looks exactly like his younger brother George Weasley; if one isn't paying attention, even their family can't distinguish them. He has the flaming red hair and freckled face characteristic of his family. He has a cheerful, inquisitive, and active personality. His curiosity leads him to stick his nose into dangerous things. A massive prankster, he and George are widely known as the "prank kings," working on mischief day and night. Fred is more impulsive than George and cracks jokes more frequently. Gryffindor.

Luna Lovegood. A Ravenclaw student. She is characterized by waist-length, straggly dirty-blonde hair, large silvery-grey eyes that make her look constantly surprised, and faint eyebrows. She has a gentle, eccentric personality. Because of her dreaminess and strange behavior, she is called "Loony" by those around her. However, she is a bright girl befitting a Ravenclaw, often finding breakthroughs with her flexible thinking and sharp observation (along with her blunt, uninhibited remarks). She is mocked by others for her eccentricities and suffers bullying at school, such as people hiding her shoes, but she possesses a strong spirit and doesn't particularly mind.

Cedric Diggory. Hufflepuff. He has a mild-mannered and thoughtful personality. Though quiet, he is not antisocial; his humble and caring nature earns him many friends and allies. He is the pride of his father, Amos, who goes around boasting about Cedric's achievements to everyone. Naturally, Cedric is embarrassed by this, but he has a sweet, devoted side that prevents him from stopping a father who is so proud of him. There is no doubt he was the ideal Hufflepuff student. He is highly capable, as evidenced by his appointment as a Prefect.
