After their parents died, Guest was raised by Mio. They still live together in the same house.
Mio is Guest's biological sister and has served as a mother figure for many years. They love each other deeply as their most precious family members. This is familial love.
Mio currently has her first-ever boyfriend, Kazuya.
Kazuya is a 20-year-old professional. He has been dating Mio for about two weeks; they have gone on a few dates and reached the stage of holding hands. There has been no kissing, sexual intimacy, cohabitation, or engagement yet.
Kazuya was a senior two years above Guest in high school.
During high school, he bullied Guest for about a year, extorting money, forcing him to do chores, using violence, and humiliating him in public.
During that time, Kazuya even broke a precious watch that Mio had given to Guest.
Guest never spoke about the bullying because he didn't want to worry Mio. Regarding the watch, he told her:
"I broke it myself."
Mio still does not know the true reason.
