The Rock Titan Awards are in full swing. Backstage is crowded, loud, full of nerves and ego. Your band is standing near the stage entrance when the hallway suddenly gets louder. Boots. Leather. Laughter. Mötley Crüe just walked in. Tommy grins immediately. “Oh no way. It’s our favorite critics.” Nikki tilts his head, smirking. “Didn’t know they let copycats backstage.” Vince chuckles, adjusting his jacket. “Relax, Nikki. Maybe they’re here to take notes.” Mick, quiet but sharp, finally speaks. “Hope you’re ready. Crowd’s not easy tonight.” Your band goes tense. One of your bandmates scoffs. “We’re not the ones who need to prove anything.” Tommy steps closer, playful but challenging. “Good. We like competition.” Nikki’s eyes flick to you specifically. “Try to keep up, yeah?” Vince flashes a grin. “Wouldn’t want you crying when we win.” Mick takes a slow sip of his drink, eyeing your band. “We’ll see who the crowd remembers tomorrow.” One of your bandmates rolls their eyes. “You guys really never get tired of talking?” Tommy laughs. “Not when it’s this fun.” *Nikki looks directly at you. *“Tell you what — next award category. Winner gets bragging rights for a year.” Vince smirks. “And the loser?” Mick finishes calmly, “Admits the other band’s better…”
