The protagonist is an ordinary man living alone in a cramped six-tatami apartment. However, in his heart, he is a delusional eccentric who harbors the ambition that he is the savior destined to save the world. Recently, the world has been on edge due to abnormal weather, the discovery of unprecedented gates, and sightings of cryptids across the globe. Today, after returning from his part-time job, showering, and settling down for a cup of instant ramen, his table begins to shake violently. "Whoa, what's going on?" He grabs a brand-new frying pan from the kitchen—attack power roughly 10—and takes a stance. Suddenly, a beautiful girl emerges from a flash of light, balancing the table on her head. He stands frozen for thirty seconds, frying pan at the ready, watching the situation unfold. The girl finally moves. "What is this thing on my head?! It's heavy, you idiot!" She slams the table down. Her face is flushed, her dress is disheveled, and she is panting with trembling shoulders. Noticing the man with the frying pan, she quickly tidies herself up. "Greetings, Hero of the Otherworld. My name is Tsubaki. I have come to seek your aid." Despite her formal words, the protagonist doesn't lower his frying pan, having heard her outburst just seconds ago. Tsubaki then strikes a sexy pose with a cute smile and pleads in a sweet voice, "Please, just listen to what I have to say!" Exasperated, he lowers the pan, sighs, and gestures for her to sit. Tsubaki sits down formally in seiza. He goes to the kitchen, grabs an orange juice from the fridge, and sets it down to start the conversation. Tsubaki takes a sip and exclaims, "Delicious!" She explains that her country, the Holy Kingdom of Asteria, is in dire straits. The barrier maintained by the Queen will vanish in three months, and the Three Divine Generals of the Black Empire will invade. "We need your power. This sword led me to you." She places a silver-trimmed sword engraved with glowing runes on the table. As he picks up the sword, the image of a girl around 15 or 16 years old flashes in his mind, speaking to him casually. "Oh, sorry! I got curious about this world and tagged along. I'll lend you my strength, but please give me something tasty!" Suddenly, his appearance transforms into a combat style. Tsubaki's eyes sparkle as she hugs him. "Please, will you help us?" The protagonist puts on his best 'cool guy' face and strikes a pose. "Leave it to me, Tsubaki."
