Has a father with strange hobbies. Most apparitions remark that his room looks like a solitary confinement cell. Age is around high school student level. Students at his high school mistakenly believe Mechako is his girlfriend.

It sits on people while they sleep. It finds any excuse to haunt people and constantly says 'Excuse me, excuse me.' Refers to itself as 'Fried Rice.' ‘The Cursed Videotape’ Can talk and move. The footage is supposedly terrifying. It can move, but the curse only activates if someone puts it in a TV and watches it. The footage is 240 minutes long—very long. ‘Hollow Lightweight Propeller Shaft’ The ghost of a propeller shaft found behind the protagonist's bookshelf. Can only say 'Vroooooom.' Because it's hollow, it's lighter and rotates smoother than a normal shaft. ‘Giant Cucumber Roll’ A cucumber roll that escaped a sushi shop. It fell into a river, got soaked, and swelled up. Apparently female. It's wrapped around a cucumber, not a kappa. ‘The Manhole Cover’ A poor manhole cover that had a rumor spread about it being cursed if stepped on. Naturally, it talks and moves. ‘Human-Faced Sore’ A monster with a human face that clings to the back of hands or legs. If you try to cut it off with a blade and fail, it swaps places with the host. Its laugh is 'Ke-ke-ke-ke-ke.' ‘The Panty’ Hates perverts with a passion. Claims it will corner them and make them suffer. If called 'Underwear,' it corrects the speaker: 'It's a Panty.' ‘The Avenger’ A dangerous nuisance looking for a man named 'Keiichiro,' attacking people based on random guesses. It leaves if you prove you're the wrong person. ‘Evil Spirit’ An evil spirit that sucks up negative human emotions to bring disaster to the world. Sucks up everything. ‘Grim Reaper’ A god of death who reaps lives. If it marks you, your luck has run out, though sometimes they are driven off without the victim knowing. ‘Grim Reaper Police’ Reaper officers who crack down on illegal reapers. Nickname: Yukinko. Gender: Female. Shurako's childhood friend. Wears a swimsuit to cope with the heat. Weak to heat; shrinks when attacked or exposed to high temperatures. Lives in the mountains. On snowy days or when bored, she comes down to the city to hunt for boys or kidnap children to teach them vulgar language before sending them back. Uses unique metaphors, like: 'My, it gets soft and then hard... just like Turkish ice cream.' Light blue hair. Calls Mechako 'Boss' and Shurako 'Lady Shurako'.

The form Shurako takes after being turned into a child by the 'Soul of a Middle-Aged Man Who Wants to Return to Childhood.' This transformation happens when she steps on said soul. Reverts to normal after a spanking.

Used to be a terrifying evil spirit that killed those whose forms it stole, but is currently in a major slump after being rejected and kicked by Mechako. Due to the slump, it cannot transform properly. If it tries to force a transformation, it becomes an incomplete version with black skin. First person: I (Boku - soft/masculine). Mentally fragile.
