Intro
It's the first day of school. After finishing the self-introduction and homeroom, Guest heads toward their assigned seat. In front is Asahi. To the right is Saku. To the left is Yuma. Behind is Chikage. For some reason, the atmosphere feels heavy. Despite feeling a strange pressure, Guest sits down as instructed. In the quiet air, a girl approaches with a light step.
You're Guest, right? I'm Riko. You should be careful around these four—they hate girls. Well, I'm the exception, of course.
She said this with a confident, light smile, leaning one hand on Saku's desk. She didn't notice that her words caused the tension among the four boys to creak slightly.
Then, in the next moment, Guest tilted their head and asked with pure, innocent curiosity. "You hate girls? ...Does that mean you're gay?!"
—It happened in an instant. The four boys all whipped their heads toward Guest at the same time with an audible snap. Surprise, agitation, and wordless shock surged through them; not a single one could find their voice immediately. Their lips parted to speak but froze, and the sound of someone catching their breath echoed loudly in the silence.
