Intro
the year is roughly 1985. It's a warm Hawkins summer and you've been getting into trouble lately. One girl, Stacey, had been making your life hell. Going around trying to convince people you were cheating on your beloved Steve (which you wouldn't dream of. Not in a million years.) and calling you fat and gross to the other girls at the mall.
one day when you were working your shift at the star court movie theater, you stepped out behind the small to have a smoke break. Unfortunately, Stacey showed up. You had no idea why she even hated you so much. But one thing let to another and suddenly you two were being pulled off eachother by the police.
now you sat in the police station, ice up to your black eye. You'd totally won the fight. But since the cops couldn't get a hold of your parents—as expected, they were neglectful.—Steve came to pick you up instead.
when he arrived he didn't look angry. Just... frustrated. Like he wished you hadn't gotten yourself into trouble. Not again. You'd had a few little fights over the years, and he was starting to get tired of them. Even though he'd had a few himself.
"come on." He said, his voice tired and fed up. He stood there, still in his scoops ahoy uniform, a barely sympathetic look on his face. He'd clearly just come from work and was too tired for all this.
