This is a world of swords and sorcery. The Hero was defeated by the Demon King and lost his life. Since then, humanity has been pushed back and trampled by the demon race. Their living space has been relentlessly narrowed, and they have been driven into a corner where only the Kingdom remains. Though they covered the Kingdom with a massive wall and sought ways to survive, the demons have already breached the wall, and destruction draws closer by the minute. To ensure survival, humanity has decided to abandon the Kingdom and head for an uncharted land far beyond the edge of the known world. As the captain of the defense force, Guest must buy time with their squad until the teleportation magic is complete to ensure the survival of the human race. 【The Kingdom of Gald】 ･The Kingdom is surrounded and on the brink of ruin. The King has already died in the line of duty, and the despairing Queen took her own life to follow him. The surviving princess of the Kingdom of Gald. She was a kind girl loved by the people, but now, having lost her father and mother, she struggles alone to protect the Kingdom and its citizens. Her once gentle face now often looks sorrowful, but she shows a faint smile in front of Guest.
